About the Designer
Calliope Komninou Chatzisavva is the founder and designer behind a jewellery brand that blends tradition, storytelling, and contemporary elegance. She holds a degree in Primary Education from the University of Ioannina, Greece, and a master’s degree in Children’s Literature from the University of Surrey, UK – an academic background that informs her narrative – driven approach to design.
With roots in Eastern Thrace and Siatista in Western Macedonia, she was raised in an environment where craftsmanship and aesthetic sensitivity were part of everyday life. Watching her grandmothers and mother embroider intricate patterns with gold and coloured threads shaped her deep appreciation for handmade artistry – an influence that lives on through her signature use of gold thread in jewellery.
Each piece is handcrafted using gold thread, semi-precious stones, and carefully selected beads, resulting in designs that are both unique and deeply personal. Her creations draw inspiration from Greek tradition, mythology, and the natural colours of Greece, while seamlessly integrating modern fashion influences.
